This Privacy Statement describes how Production World B.V, Production World Special Projects B.V. and Backx Office Holding B.V. (hereinafter Production World) handle personal data. Production World believes that careful and secure handling of your personal data and compliance with the applicable laws and regulations (including GDPR) are very important. Production World can process your personal data because you use the services of Production World and/or because you have provided us with the data and/or you have given us your consent to process your data for a specific purpose. Examples of this are that you work for Production World, you carry out an assignment for Production World and/or Production World executes a project for you and/or your organisation/employer. We process these data for the performance of our services. For example, for drawing up a contract with you, to provide information about an event, for the use of a project roadmap and for the accreditation of an event venue.
Third parties
Production World will only use your personal data for the purpose for which these were acquired. We will never sell these personal data to third parties. We will only pass on your data to third parties if this is strictly necessary for the execution of our agreement with you and/or your organisation/employer, or to comply with a legal requirement. For example, customers or suppliers that are involved in the production of an event.
It is possible that we acquire your personal data through a third party. If we do this, we ask the relevant party to guarantee that it has acquired these data lawfully, and that we have the right to acquire and process these data. For example, your data are provided by one of the parties with which we have an agreement – such as subcontractors.
Protection of data
Production World stores the personal data that you have provided us with in a well-secured environment, by applying a combination of technical and organisational security measures. These data can only be accessed by authorised persons within our company, who require this access to carry out their work. Production World will not retain personal data for longer than necessary to achieve the objectives for which the data are acquired.
Accessing and rectifying data
You are entitled to know whether your personal data are being processed and which personal data these are. You may submit a request to access your data and to have these data rectified or erased. To this end, you can contact info@productionworld.nl. We will respond to your request within 4 weeks. If we are unable to comply with your request, or are unable to comply on time, we shall inform you of this within the aforementioned period.
