Through the Looking Glass

As part of LUDWIG’s 10-year anniversary, and to provide a glimpse of this organisation’s future plans, Production World produced Through the Looking Glass at the Onderzeebootloods (Submarine Wharf) in Rotterdam. An evening when the LUDWIG orchestra performed with global superstar Barbara Hannigan in two different shows. First, a special multimedia performance of La Voix Humaine, an opera by Francis Poulenc, preceded by Metamorphosen by Richard Strauss. Followed by a ballroom dance evening, during which LUDWIG & Hannigan presented their album Dance With Me, released back in 2022.

La Voix Humaine was very enthusiastically received. In the performance with which Barabara Hannigan is touring, she is a singer, conductor and actor. All eyes are on her and the big screen, which shows live camera footage of her. A unique experience!

Production World produced the drawings and was responsible for the technical production for this event.
