The international games for personnel of the police, fire brigade, customs and the Custodial Institutions Service were held in the Netherlands for the first time in history.
From 22 to 31 July 2022, the Netherlands hosted the World Police & Fire Games. For ten days, the port city of Rotterdam became the nerve centre of this grand and, above all, unique event, featuring a wide range of sports.
More than 10,000 police officers, firefighters, customs and Custodial Institutions Service staff from 70 different countries participated in the WPFG 2022. They were active in as many as 63 sports, including CrossFit, athletics, triathlon, water polo, kitesurfing and the ultimate firefighter.
Production World was involved in the event’s Opening Ceremony at Feijenoord Stadium. We produced the design and drawings and were responsible for the pre-production and execution of the technical production and the provision of facilities
